CAI Introduces New ZRE CO2 Measuring Product
December 07, 2009

ORANGE, CA (December 7, 2009) - In 1990, The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) enacted the Clean Air Act in an effort to improve and protect the nation's air quality and the stratospheric ozone layer. As part of this law many stationary sources were required to install Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMs). Over 75 % of these systems included a Carbon Dioxide (CO2) monitor from California Analytical Instruments, Inc. – Orange, CA. Many of these same units are still in operation today.

Today, as the world continues to try to minimize Greenhouse Gas emissions, reduction of Carbon Dioxide takes center stage. Many sources are now required to measure CO2 and include these results in the EPA reporting.

Our newest offering is The Model ZRE. Utilizing Non-Dispersive Infrared (NDIR) technology along with our patented Microflow detector, the Model ZRE ensures CAI will continue to rein as the standard in the industry. The Model ZRE combines tremendous accuracy, stability, ease-of-use with low cost. The ZRE’s ability to measure all of the criteria pollutants makes it a great option for an entire CEM system. Some key features of the ZRE analyzers are that it measures CO2 from PPM to 100 percent, it can measure up to five components, it has auto ranging and auto calibration, it has local and remote operation, it is reliable, rugged, stable and accurate with enhanced diagnostics.
