CAI Custom Products Division Welcomes New Project Engineer

Orange, CA (August 29, 2011) - California Analytical Instruments, Inc. is proud to announce and welcome Bert Garcia as the Company’s new Project Engineer. Mr. Garcia will play a key role in the advancement and expansion of the custom products division capabilities and marketability.

Bert holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the California State University, Long Beach. He came to CAI from Cemtek Environmental, Inc., located in Santa Ana, California where he held the position of Proposal/Applications Engineer. He was responsible for reviewing all customer specifications and processes and recommended the monitoring equipment necessary to satisfy the EPA and local regulatory requirements. He also prepared full proposals for projects up to 4 million dollars.

Bert has over 18 years in Project Engineering, Project Management and Proposal/Applications Engineering. He has worked on projects with the government EPA contracts for vehicle emissions certification and integration of emissions monitoring equipment for power generating, pharmaceutical and refinery companies.
